QTP/UFT 11.5 Patches

This post includes all QTP 11.5 Patches (downloadable from HP directly). It will be updated every time a new patch is released. Last updated: 05/06/2013.

QTP 11.5 Patch Link Details
UFT 11.51 Patch 1 (04/16/2013) UFT_00037 This patch adds the following support/fixes:

  • Support for Firefox 19.
  • Recogition issue of OracleTextField and OracleTable: none of the older scripts written in the version 11 are working with 11.50, getting error: not able to find the object.
  • Unable to enter the code “Exit Property” in function library. UFT crashes while entering the value “Exit Property” in Function Library.
  • LoadAndRunAction can’t locate test in ALM that’s never vopened in machine before getting an exception while opening QTP11.0 test in UFT
  • QTP11.5 object spy is not identifying embedded Java application inside Oracle application. The objects are recognized as only Browser(..).Page(..).winobject(sun.awt.canvas).
  • After installing UFT SP1, relative path resources of tests created with UFT 11.50 are duplicated
  • While identifying windowless objects that were developed using the MSAA API – default capture level is not working correctly.
  • Receiving a flash player error when clicking inside a Flex data grid if QTP automation libraries are installed UFT getting stuck when trying to execute SwfToolbar().Select statement
Unified Functional Testing Add-in Service Pack 11.51 for ALM (02/01/2013) UFTALM_00001 This service pack should be used when working with UFT Service Pack 11.51
Unified Functional Testing Extensibility Accelerator Service Pack 11.51 (02/01/2013) UFTEXA_00001 This service pack should be used when working with UFT Service Pack 11.51
Unified Functional Testing Run Results Viewer Service Pack 11.51 (02/01/2013) UFTRRV_00001 This service pack should be used when working with UFT Service Pack 11.51
Unified Functional Testing Service Pack 11.51 (01/29/2013) UFT_00001 Support added for:

  • Windows 8
  • IE 10

This service pack contains updates related to:

  • New Environment Support
  • SAP
  • Actions
  • Keyword View (Insert Report Step)
  • Run Session Stop Key
  • Errors Pane
  • Application Areas
  • Add-ins

Fixed issues:

  • QCUtil.IsConnected throws error “GetLastErrorMessage: this method is not implemented for non-connected qc.” Error even if connected to ALM server.
  • Not possible to import WSDLs stored in QC 10 from UFT 11.5

Anshoo,

UFT_00001 patch gives the support for Windows 8 and IE 10. Please mention that this is very important. Windows 8 becomes default when purchasing. This info can help them.
